Al Othman Trust was one of the main sponsors of the International Conference for Mosque Architecture, in collaboration with the Al Fouzan Award for Mosque Architecture. The conference was organized by the College of Architecture of Kuwait University. It is a scientific, academic conference that is held every three years, focusing on mosque architecture. Among the topics for presentation was the renovation of Abdullah Abdulatif Al Othman Mosque located in Hawally. Dar Al-Shaheen Consultants have completed the conceptual design, MEP designs and all necessary specifications and documentation. Exterior and interior virtual reality models were presented during the conference. The project aims to renovate Al Othman Mosque and return it to its original form. It will be rehabilitated and protected as a landmark that speaks to an important historical era in the history of urbanism of the State of Kuwait.
