The conference was organized by the College of Architecture at Kuwait University. The conference is one of the most important scientific and academic conferences concerned with the design and construction of mosques, and is held every three years. The work of the rehabilitation project of Abdullah Abdullatif Al-Othman Mosque located in Hawalli area, which was commissioned to study and design by Dar Al-Shaheen Consultants, was presented. The office team has completed preliminary and detailed designs for interior design work and all engineering systems.
The work was accompanied by the production of three-dimensional models and models illustrating the virtual reality of the mosque after restoration. The project aims to rehabilitate the mosque for its original status when it was built. The design of these two hospitals consists of surgery, emergency, laboratories and x-ray departments and approximately 300 beds. Dar Al-Shaheen Consultants is working as a local engineering consultant to complete the detailed designs with the contractor of the project, the Chinese company MCC, to complete the project in Kuwait—with a total contract value of 162 million Kuwaiti dinars. The Dhaman company aims to ease the pressure on the Ministry of Health to provide health care services to expatriates through the hospitals and primary care centers completed to international standards.

The project comprises retail and commercial uses and state of the art educational and entertainment facilities. Various outdoor and indoor spaces create a year-long and 24/7 operation. Visitors can travel through the site using a unique tram system. At the center of the project sits a uniquely designed landmark hotel tower that will host various hospitality and entertainment events. The project has space for an 800-yacht marina and terminals for a national taxi ferry. The project is designed with sustainability in mind, incorporating smart technologies and energy-saving systems. The design shall be completed by the end of 2023 and will be tendered the year after.

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare announced that it has completed work on the main infrastructure for the Al Mutlaa residential city project. The project has been handed over to the Project Acceptance Committee, which consists of the Public Authority for Housing Welfare, and other related public authorities. The project encompasses a 30 km2 infrastructure network out of the 120 km2 residential city development. It includes 70 million cubic meters of earth and stone excavations and fills in eight blocks in the new city. The city is planned to accommodate 400,000 residents. The city is located 40 KM from Kuwait City and 10 KM from Al Jahra City.
ASCO's professional staff is in charge of reviewing all design and contract documents and overseeing the construction supervision in accordance to the contract signed between the contractor the Public Authority of Housing Welfare.  The construction contract has been awarded to the Chinese company: China Ghezbouba group company limited the contract value is 215 Million Kuwaiti Dinars.
Al Multall City project is considered one of the most important housing projects in the state of Kuwait. When completed it shall host 30,000 units and accommodate 400,000 residence.
