A historical preservation project to rehabilitate and renovation of Abdullah Al Othman Mosque in Hawally, Public Authority for Minors Affairs appointed Dar Al-Shaheen Consultants for the mentioned scope, to redesign the services area, mosque courtyard and surroundings area for this important Landmark in Hawally.

The economic and social objectives of the project are the main rule for the project success in fulfilling the required purpose, which aims primarily to accommodate the residents of the region during prayer while preserving the unique style of the mosque and providing comfort during the prayer’s performance.

The building also becomes a unique landmark for the Hawally region as well as for the state of Kuwait. In order to achieve these goals, many technical guarantees must be provided that achieve the project and owner objectives.

We conducted a thorough project study, which is based on the main elements, which is restoring the mosque to the previous status, with some modifications and additions, but without prejudice to the mosque architectural character. Therefore, we have modified and added some required matters accordingly.
