Project Details

This proposal was prepared in response to KDIPA invitation to submit a conceptual design for the development of Al wafra Economic Zone. This city seeks to attract international investments, diversify the local economy and create jobs.
Al Shaheen have created a master plan based on five principles; Connectivity and accessibility, attractiveness of foreign investments, high quality public realm, quality architecture and functional zoning, and smart infrastructure.
The proposed plan, included a clear and hierarchal road network, proposed a local tram system, It created a series of public plazas and balanced distribution of parks and green areas.
