Project Details

In response to an invitation by the Public Authority of Housing Welfare. Al-Shaheen proposal aimed at a contemporary school that reflects the nature of this prominent social building. The idea originated from the courtyard as a symbol of the traditional type, which has various functional and environmental benefits and opportunities to allow for rich visual communication. The location of the administrative department on the upper floors expresses hierarchy and allows for visual monitoring.

The form’s simplicity and the variation resulting from the mass movement created attractive circulation corridors, rich green roofs, and shaded walkways. The façade solid architectural elements act as sun breakers and reduce noise and pres-ent a unique architectural feature.
