Project Details

Logistic City Project aims to be a key point for this vision by increasing productivity, improving the sustainability and efficiency, re-defining the cultural appearance of Kuwait in these rural areas. The city will create a suitable environment for storage services to provide investment and commercial opportunities. By providing new logistic organizations that combine storage, trade and distribution, there would be supporting the development plan of Kuwait and encourage shipping and transportation companies to use Kuwaiti Ports. Project allocated in four sites:

  1. Shuwaikh with Area of 317, 355 sq.m.
  2. Mina Abdulla with Area of 1,000,000 sq.m.
  3. Southeast Doha with Area of 270,000 sq.m.
  4. Southwest of Doha with Area of 300,000 sq.m.

The project is an integrated logistic cities and consists of the following buildings:

  - Dry storage and docking facilities with dry storage.
  - Cold – Frozen – Fresh Food storage and sorting handling facilities, docking facilities.
  - Auction & retail, laboratory center, central kitchens, E – Commerce
  - Open and shaded storage.
  - Electrical car workshop and showroom
  - Multifunctional building, labor accommodation, facility management warehouse, security & control buildings.

Dar Al-Shaheen Consultants worked with the international consultant: Proyapi Engineering from Turkey to complete the project from conceptual design to the production of Tender Documents.
