Project Details
The Red Palace was built by H.H Shaikh Mubarak Al-Kabir in 1914 and it is considered one of the most important monuments in Kuwait. The project aimed to rehabilitate the building and complete the necessary studies that lead to its registration as an archaeological site.
As allocated by the Master plan of the state of Kuwait, the surrounding fields were allocated as a national park with an area equal to 500,000 sq m.
The study aimed to replan the national park as an essential part of Jahra governorate.
The project contains a municipal museum, traditional café, an open air theatre in addition to different entertainment activities.
