In addition of a huge mall with 200,000 square meters of recreational and commercial spaces will attract residents and visitors to enjoy the lifestyle of the marina and at the same time enable them to take advantage of other commercial and entertainment activities such as shops, restaurants, cinemas, cultural events and the botanical garden. All project components will be implemented using the principle of one climate under one roof, to ensure a comfortable environment for visitors during all seasons.

Logistic City Project aims to be a key point for this vision by increasing productivity, improving the sustainability and efficiency, re-defining the cultural appearance of Kuwait in these rural areas. The city will create a suitable environment for storage services to provide investment and commercial opportunities. Al-Shaheen proposal aimed at a contemporary school that reflects the nature of this prominent social building. The idea originated from the courtyard as a symbol of the traditional type, which has various functional and environmental benefits and opportunities to allow for rich visual communication. The location of the administrative department on the upper floors expresses hierarchy and allows for visual monitoring.


The form’s simplicity and the variation resulting from the mass movement created attractive circulation corridors, rich green roofs, and shaded walkways. The façade solid architectural elements act as sun breakers and reduce noise and pres-ent a unique architectural feature.

Dar Al-Shaheen Consultants worked with Jung Brannen architects from Boston to plan and design the architectural concept. The proposed concept is unique and uses colors and shapes that reflect the nature of the project and create a safe environment for children’s, visitors and staff.


Al-Shaheen Consultants completed the full architectural detailing and structural design and MEP designs of the new hospital. The full package was designed using BIM tools to ensure full coordination and integration.

The floor plan is organized around two main internal courtyards. The mass of the building consists of four stories; that face a main outdoor park and sports field. The building design is modern and minimal in style and aims to provide students and visitors with clarity, interest and joy.
